Common Switching Up the Sound For Summer

"Invincible Summer", Common's new album which is expected for summer release will have an electro sound to it. "I created this music for the summer time, it's about feeling good. This is the type of music I felt was missing from my body of work." Common plans to do this album witout help from Kanye West he told Billboard, "Kanye was focusing on his 'Glow in the Dark' show, so he hasn't been able to make it to the studio to weigh in," But it worked out well, organically. The Neptunes & Mr. DJ came up with a fresh sound for me." The album will also feature Cee-Lo, The Neptunes' of course, Chester French (pop group), and MC Santogold.

Common will also appear in the film "Wanted," that opens in theatres on June 27th. the movie also stars James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.
