KRS-One Hit Over the head with a Bottle

When i heard this story yesterday i couldn't stop laughing, so if you haven't already heard KRS-One got hit over the head with a bottle at a " Stop the Violence". Apparently a concert-goer got mad because security staff escorted him off the stage so he tossed the bottle in reaction.

All that KRS-One had to say was; "Let it go. Let it go. When negativity comes your way, let it go. …Let this be an example as to how we stop the violence.... (Right)

That's so backwards how are you gonna come to a stop the Violence show and cause violence? People....People...

Sexual Assault Awareness

To all that didn't know April is noted for being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Which brings awareness to sexual violence and prevention as well as efforts to provide rape crisis intervention and prevention services while supporting sexual assault survivors and victims.

And Hip-Hop activist/author Kevin Powell feel like he needs to speak out. Poweell is joining forces with BAMIA (Black and Male in America) and NY radio station Hot 97.1, to recognize the month and to present a special screening and discussion about the award-winning documentary No!.

The event, will take place at 7 p.m. tonight (April 7) at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York.
