The movie is about an unlikely group of high school basketball champions who - in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Katrina - learn the true meaning of survival. The movie stars Forest Whitaker, Isaiah Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Courtney B. Vance, Robbie Jones, Shad Moss aka Bow Wow, Jackie Long, Eric Hill, Jarod Einsohn, Irma Hall, Jared Einsohn, J.B. Smoove, Chyna Mcclain, and Lil' Wayne.
Lil Wayne has been added to the cast of Tim Story's (director) upcoming film "The Patriots." The movie is about a high school basketball coach whose has players from five different schools that were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Wayne will play Lamont a student who is skeptic of the coaches new team and the coach will be played by the GREAT Forest Whitaker. Filming starts this week in New Orleans.
