Russell Simmons held a press conference today to discuss his stand against the possibility of banning of seller-funded down payment assistance. Which is the last remaining program available to help low-to-moderate income working families become homeowners. Simmons says elimination of the practice "would not only be a tragedy for hundreds-of-thousands of would-be homeowners, but the overall mortgage market"
