Akon and Nelly have let the cat out the bag letting the world know about their plan to form a group along with Pharell.Akon: “Me and Nelly used to bump into each other off and on and it had nothing to do with music. We were always looking for the opportunity to work together,” Akon said. “There was a thing that Nelly was coming up with that had me, him and Pharrell possibly doing an album together. We just wanted to find something we could do together.”
Nelly:“Right now it’s just a concept,” Nelly responded when questioned about the trio working together. “I just got the idea because I love groups like Bell Biv Devoe. When they got a chance to come together. When LSG (Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill) did it. Nobody has really done it on the Hip Hop level. Nobody has put egos aside and said ‘You know what? Let’s do something that would be crazy! We don’t have that (moment in time) and I feel like we’re missing that something special.”
I wonder what be the name of the group?
