David Banner Will Travel in Support of The Troops

David Banner has signed on for the next USO Tour in the Persian Gulf, to take place between February and March. Banner will spend a week visiting several military posts along with artists James Taylor, Kelly Price and Gary Sinese and the Lt. Dan Band.

Ludacris and Big Boi will co-host The Urban Ball

According to reports, Ludacris and Big Boi will co-host one of the numerous inauguration-night galas celebrating the election of Barack Obama. The vent which is will be called the Urban Ball, with have appearances by David Banner, Bobby Valentino, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Cedric the Entertainer, the Cheetah Girls, Jalen Rose, Kenny Smith and Alonzo Mourning Fantasia and Monica. THe event will take place on Jan. 20 at D.C.'s Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Word is tickets are $350.

Hip Hop Live Tour With David Banner and Talib Kweli

Banner Nominated For an Ozone Award

David Banner, has been nominated for two OZONE awards - the Pimp C Award (Trillest Artist) and Best Rap/R&B Collaboration for the first single off his new project "Get Like Me" ft. Chris Brown & Yung Joc. The 2008 Ozone Awards will be held in Houston.

David Banner and Others To Remake Qunicy Jones Hits

David Banner recently told Billboard.com, that he and several other rappers are planning on putting their own spin on hits from super producer Quincy Jones. "Quincy Jones got me, Akon, Pharrell Williams and T-Pain and allowed us to choose and remake our favorite songs," says Banner of the project, "I chose 'Give Me the Night' by George Benson with Jamie Foxx singing it." A date for which has yet to be set.
