According to online reports, Da Brat, who's real name is Shawntae Harris, was sentenced to three years in prison today. However she will only serve 12 months of the three year sentence. Brat will also receive will also receive 7 years probation.This sentence comes from an incident that happened at a Halloween party at Studio 72 nightclub (owned by Jermaine Dupri) last year. Where Brat got into an altercation with a waitress and picked up a bottle of rum and smashed it into the women’s face. The woman suffered permanent facial scarring.
