News: TI’s out of Prison Now

Rapper T.I. got an early Christmas present Tuesday after authorities released him from a federal prison in Arkansas nearly seven months into a 366-day term.

His attorney, Steve Sadow, told the website xxlmag.com that T.I. would report to a halfway house in the Atlanta area later in the day to begin a stay of two or three months.

T.I., 28, was arrested after trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents in 2007. That came after the rapper's best friend was killed following a party in Cincinnati in 2006. The rapper has said the bullets that killed his friend were meant for him.

Prodigy Wants his Money!

Prodigy of Mobb Deep, who is currently in jail from a October 2007 for unlawful gun possession, is Vox Music Group for allegedly failing to pay him over $30,000 in royalties. In court documents filed on March 23 in Manhattan Supreme Court, Prodigy claims executives agreed in August 2007 to pay him $10,300 a month. According to the New York Post, Johnson accuses them of missing three payments and failing to give him a semi-annual royalty accounting statement, forcing his family home into foreclosure. Prodigy wants his money but he also wants the agreement be terminated.

"Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" will soon be overseas. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show has been acquired by TV400 in Sweden, TV2 Zebra in Denmark, Yan TV in Vietnam, 8TV in Malaysia and Play TV in Poland.

Apparently T-Pain got into a golf carting accident over the weekend. He wrecked his golf cart backstage which resulted in him losing 4 teeth and having tons of cuts and bruises. Word is he has had to miss a few concert dates over the weekend and also his video shoot with Lil Kim.

Flo Rida Wanted For Questioning

In the mist of Flo Rida driving across country to promote his upcoming CD R.O.O.T.S. Police in Lexington, Kentucky are looking to question him and two members of his entourage over allegations of animal abuse. According to reports, witnesses said they saw two men exiting the tour bus on Wednesday and brutally killing a rabbit before jumping back on the bus and leaving the scene. Both Lexington Police and Animal Control are investigating the incident and want to question the occupants of the bus. Of course his label has issued a statement denying anyone in his entourage harmed an animal.

People are struggling to make money in the music industry. Do you have a lot of investments outside of entertainment? Absolutely. I make more money away from music than I do off of music—well, I was. Shit is terrible right now. Look at the economy in general. General Motors and Chrysler are looking for a bailout. It’s going to be a financial issue if they don’t succeed, though. If they don’t receive the assistance, they will go bankrupt in the next couple of years.

Pras Being Sued By Homeless!

Pras Michel is being sued by three homesless people for film profits, claiming they never approved the use of their images in his documentary. In the documentary Pras disguised himself as a homeless man to star in "Skid Row," which is a 50-block stretch of downtown Los Angeles populated by the homeless.
