Prodigy Wants his Money!

Prodigy of Mobb Deep, who is currently in jail from a October 2007 for unlawful gun possession, is Vox Music Group for allegedly failing to pay him over $30,000 in royalties. In court documents filed on March 23 in Manhattan Supreme Court, Prodigy claims executives agreed in August 2007 to pay him $10,300 a month. According to the New York Post, Johnson accuses them of missing three payments and failing to give him a semi-annual royalty accounting statement, forcing his family home into foreclosure. Prodigy wants his money but he also wants the agreement be terminated.

Prodigy of Mobb Deep Upset

Prodigy of Mobb Deep has been very upset for what reason no ones knows, but he had some harsh words for Hip Hop which all appeared in an extremely long blog he had time to write. Prodigy took an attack on people including Cassidy, Fat Joe, Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Joe Budden, Jay-Z, Nas, Phonte, Saigon, and Keith Murray. As he went on and on he praise Soulja Boy for being “original, innovative, and unique”(right)..Prodigy is also upset with various music outlets for name-dropping; MTV, BET, The Source, XXL and Vibe magazine, as well as 99.9% of web sites that pertain to hip-hop. I'm thinking this was all a ploy being that his new album (H.N.I.C. Part 2) comes out later this year, and here i am giving him the satisfaction.
