Apparently this video is suppose to be some big deal, the reason why I have NO clue. Maybe because Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kanye West are all in the song, but one thing I do know is that the song is a little annoying and Rihanna screaming in the background doesn’t help. Leon Desmond Barrett of Detroit has been charged for sending celebrities Beyonce, Jay-Z, and NFL Hall of Famer Roger Goodell death letters. Barrett first began sending the letters to Goodell in 2006 and in the most recent letter is when he threatened Jay-Z and Beyonce. Barrett has been ordered by a judge to not possess guns or other dangerous weapons and to not communicate with his potential victims.

CHRIS BROWN is set to incur the wrath of hip-hop king JAY-Z over his alleged assault on R&B star RIHANNA. Brown was arrested on Sunday (08Feb09) for felony battery after an incident with an as yet unidentified woman, reported to be Rihanna, in a vehicle in Los Angeles.
And Jay-Z, who discovered and mentored Rihanna, was reportedly enraged upon hearing the allegations, warning of retributions for Brown. A source tells Us Weekly magazine, “He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew.”
I'll just be glad when this is a wrap because like the elastic on some old undies it's getting stretched out to capacity!

It has just been reported that Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I. and Kanye West have been added to the performance lineup for the 51st annual Grammy Awards, to be held Feb. 8 at Los Angeles' Staples Center. They will all perform their single "Swagga Like Us," while T.I. will also take the stage with Justin Timberlake to rock their current duet, "Dead and Gone."
Jay appear with his wife Beyonce, who's trying to gain respect as an upcoming actress.

Jay-Z will perform an inauguration concert in Washington D.C., on January 19. Jay will perform with a live band at The Warner Theatre. 
Dr. Brian Sims who’s a professor at North Carolina A&T State University, has announced that he will bring Jay-Z's work to a new class called "‘Psychological Perspectives in Hip Hop’. The class will examine how principles and perspectives in psychology manifest themselves in Hip Hop culture. The class will be developed and taught by Dr. Brian Carey Sims, the primary focus of the course is to examine different psychological concepts and identify the psychological underpinnings of hip hop from 1979 until the present." According to Dr. Sims, students will explore such topics as racial identity, social justice, psychoactive drug use, sexism, and politics. He also says, “Mr. Carter provides an interesting frame of reference to discuss several psychological concepts, and as a fan I’m looking really looking forward to this week’s class.”
