“Class of 3000” Set to Become a Stage Show

Andre 3000's Emmy winning series “Class of 3000” will be transformed from an animated series to a theatrical production. The show which was aired on the Cartoon Network features Andre 3000 as international jazz and blues star turned music teacher Sunny Bridges, who mentors students at his old performing arts school in Atlanta. Tickets are currently available for the play that's taking place here in Atlanta at the Alliance Theatre through March 29.

New Outkast Album On The way Says Big Boi

According to Big Boi who recently spoke with MTV Outkast will have a full-length album out before the end of 2009. Big Boi told MTV that he's planning on releasing his second solo record, "Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son Of Chico Dusty," either in January or February, with Andre 3000 releasing his solo effort soon after. The pair will then begin recording the Outkast project for release later in the year

As we all know by now Andre 3000 aka Andre Benjamin has his own clothing line called BenjaminBixby...Esquire magazine recently caught up with the busy man to ask a few questions. I do mean a few.

What kind of lunatic launches a luxury brand in a recession?

It's not like we planned it this way, but it actually kind of helps. The person that I'm making clothes for doesn't want to wear the same thing as everyone else, and so our biggest advantage is that we can be exclusive. If a man's wearing Benjamin Bixby, you know he's in the know.

Any thoughts on buying clothes in tough times?

Buy things that you love. Buy things that are never going to go out of style, and that you can wash for ten years and still have it be your favorite. And remember that the way you present yourself counts a lot.

Andre 3000's New Clothing

Andre 3000 recently launched his new men’s clothing line Benjamin Bixby at Barney’s New York during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The line is named after a cartoon character inspired by the 1930s letter sweaters and Varsity jackets worn by Aristocrats while they watched leisure sports such as Polo and Lawn tennis.

Andre's Mother lost her Home in Atlanta Storms

This past weekend Atlanta was hit with another storm that tore up some areas. Unfortunately but fortunately Andre Benjamin’s (Andre 3000) mother ,Ma Benjamin, lost her home in the high winds. The fortunate thing is that not only can she afford to rebuild her home but Ma Benjamin walked away with her life. Prayers go out to Ma Benjamin and everyone else who lost their homes
