Jay-Z Responds To Criticism from Foxy and Teairra Marì

In an exclusive interview with Allhiphop.com, Jay-Z had a few words to say about how things went as far as Foxy Brown & Teairra Marie:

"As far as Foxy and Teairra Marì go, these are people that I have given chances to. It’s understandable that they would be upset, but you got to look at it from my point of view as well,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. “I gave Teairra Marì the same shot I gave Rihanna. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.”

“You know that stuff is going to happen, eventually it’s going to happen,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. “What I’m happy about is, that no matter what people say, no one has ever said that I am dishonest or that I have taken one dime from them…I’ve never cheated anyone out of a dime. No one’s ever said that, right?”

A lot of things have happened over the years between Jay and I,” she says of the man who signed her to a multimillion-dollar deal at Def Jam in 2005, nine years after their classic duet “Ain’t No Nigga” gave him his first radio hit.

“But there’s an unbreakable bond that will never die. 50 wanted me to be part of his team so bad. He was like, ‘Look, I’ll do it with Jay, half and half.’ And, of course, Jay said no. At one point, 50 asked, ‘Why do you have so much loyalty to this Nigga?’ Jay and I have history. There are things that he could have done better, as far as his loyalty to me, and I’m sure I’ve made mistakes that he felt he could’ve prevented.” Foxy chokes up. “When I lost my hearing, Jay gave me the respect to go heal myself. He stuck with me along the way. But there are times when I just really needed him, and it wasn’t even about Foxy Brown and Jay-Z. It was just like, ‘I need you to help me save my life,’ and he just wasn’t there.

The tears are streaming down her cheeks. “I would never denounce him in public. That’s just how I feel. But I’ve been incarcerated for eight months, and Jay’s been everywhere, and he hasn’t mentioned one thing about, ‘Tell her I love her. Tell her to be strong.’ That broke my heart more than anything. When they sent me to jail, I just knew he would be there-everyone came. But he never showed up… My mother always says, Jay also said this, in the tru life freestyle ‘Inga, when a person shows you who they are, believe them. Been showing me all through the years and you just don’t wanna believe it.’”

Foxy Brown Upset About Her Album

Foxy Brown has parted ways with her manager apparently she is not very happy about the way her latest album Brooklyn’s Don Diva was put together while she was in jail,

"I heard this CD in its entirety for the first time just days ago and was devastated," Brown told AllHipHop.com.

Time Served For Foxy!

No more jail time for Foxy Brown who took a plea deal Thursday (May 8) in her Blackberry Beatdown case.

"She basically had to write a letter of apology to the victim, and a full order of protection was also issued," Kings County District Attorney's Office rep Sandy Silverstein told E! News.

Foxy May have Early Release

People are talking and their saying that Foxy Brown will be released from jail two weeks early. Also Foxy's may have a reality show with VH-1 in the works (we know VH-1 loves reality TV). A spokesperson for Foxy's says, "The show will chronicle her life and what's she's been doing. The music business has changed, she's been away for eight months, so the show will show her getting her life back on track." Foxy has an album scheduled for release may 13th. We will See..
