The House of Reps Plan To apologize for Slavery and Jim Crow

According to CNN, The House of Representatives has pass a resolution apologizing to African-Americans for slavery and the era of Jim Crow. But it does not However talk about Freakin reparations.

The nonbinding resolution, was introduced by Rep. Steve Cohen, a white lawmaker who represents a majority black district in Memphis, Tennessee.

While many states have apologized for slavery, it will be first time a branch of the federal government will apologize for slavery if the resolution passes.

By passing the resolution, the House would also acknowledge the “injustice, cruelty, brutality and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow.

African-Americans continue to suffer from the consequences of slavery and Jim Crow — long after both systems were formally abolished — through enormous damage and loss, both tangible and intangible, including the loss of human dignity and liberty, the frustration of careers and professional lives, and the long-term loss of income and opportunity,” the resolution states.

According to an Exclusive by Hip Hop Dx, The Florida Department Of Correction records show that rapper Plies's criminal background doesn't list him as the GOON he claims that he was in the streets or in jail. According to Documents Plies has been arrested just twice during his adult life. The 32-year-old was arrested for the first time at the in 2006 for misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence! The other happened during a shooting at a Gainesville, Florida nightclub after a Plies performed in 2006. The report, states that Plies and his Brother fired guns in a night club.

Bill O’Reilly and the Fox Network continues to look terrible as they refuse to accept the petition to stop their racist ways, signed by over 600.000 people, and presented by rapper Nas. On Wednesday’s episode of “The O’Reilly Factor,” the host called MoveOn.org, which partnered with Color of Change for the march, “the new Klan” during his “Talking Points” segment.

“The Move On organization espouses a radical left agenda and attacks those who oppose that nonsense,” O’Reilly said. “The latest smear from Move On is telling their Kool-Aid-drinking zombie followers that Fox News is smearing Barack Obama and is a racist concern. Of course, that’s a lie. This broadcast and FNC in general have been exceedingly fair to Senator Obama. … But in order to intimidate anyone from criticizing Obama in any way, Move On is playing the race card.”

O’Reilly made the above statement during an interview with MTV News, while Nas told MTV that he does not plan to stop fighting yet. The rapper would like to have an open debate with O’Reilly face to face, stating that O’Reilly’s and FOX News’ statements about the Obamas and Black people are “worse than the worst rap lyrics I’ve ever heard.”

50 Sues Taco Bell For 4 Million Dollars

50 Cent has sued Taco Bell, claiming the restaurant is using his name without permission in an advertisement. According to a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday Taco Bell features 50 in a print ad asking him to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent. The papers say that Taco Bell sent a bogus letter requesting the name change to the news media but not to the rapper. The rapper's lawyer, Peter D. Raymond, said his client didn't learn about the letter or that he was featured in the ad campaign until he saw a news report about it. Taco Bell Corp. spokesman Rob Poetsch issued a statement saying: "We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89 or 99 Cent for one day by rapping his order at a Taco Bell, and we would have been very pleased to make the $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice." 50 is seeking $4 million in damages. Rick Ross Might Be a Fake: At Least AllHipHop.com is Reporting it that Way

Rick Ross, one of the hottest rappers in the game right now, was called out by AllHipHop.com, which was reporting that Ross used to be a corrections Officer. While being a corrections officer is not a problem for most of us, it is a problem for a rapper who built his career around rhymes of drug dealing, running the streets and all that. In fact, the similarity of Rick Ross' stage name with that of Ricky Ross, one of the most notorious LA drug dealers of all time, is likely not coincidental.

In response, Ross had this to say: "My life is 100% real," Ross told AllHipHop.com in a previous statement regarding the photo. "These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body. If this s**t was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? I'm in the entertainment business and a lot of people who like to hate because I'm on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100% real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake."

DJ K-Swift of Baltimore’s 92Q died early this morning. She was 28. There will also be a candlelight vigil tonight in Baltimore from 6p-10pm at 1700 White Head Road.

UPDATE: It was confirmed and announced a few minutes ago by a member of the 92Q family that K-Swift’s cause of death was that she suffered a broken neck at her pool party last night either because of or before she entered her pool.

DMC rushed To the Hospital

According to E! News, Darryl McDaniels, a.k.a. DMC of Run-DMC suffered from pain and swelling in his left arm that gotten so severe that he was rushed to the hospital. Once he got there doctors discovered he had blockages. He's scheduled for surgery to remove two major blood clots.
